Fridge Cabinet

It's important to remember that your cabinet will be positioned on the front of these panels to allow excess heat from your fridge to dissipate out of the gap behind the cabinet.

Remembering your clamps are going to be very handy during this step!

Firstly, once doors are removed let's have your fridge cabinet pre drilled with the 2-4mm drill bit on each internal corner of your cabinet and on both sides. Place a 28mm screw into each hole ready to fix.

Now install the tall panel to the cabinets that are already installed in our project. This can be done with panel on floor and cabinet on its side.
Pre drill holes using the 2-4mm drill bit in all four corners of the base cabinet and in both pantry and uppers if you have them also. Place the 28mm screws into position ready for fixing. Place the into position and using your clamps adjust to have the panel sitting proud of the base unit carcass 45mm and against the wall at the rear. Clamping the upper unit will also assist in getting the panel into position before fixing.

Once ready, secure from the inside of your carcass into the panel so the screws are not visible and cap using the plastic caps.

Now we can install the fridge cabinet but you may require someone to assist during this process. Position the carcass only cabinet 20mm behind the panel face and level with the top of the panel. Using your clamps will assist in getting it perfect and once you are ready secure using your 28mm screws which are in position already.

Now we can use the same process to secure the second panel. Keep in mind that the rear of the panel may require some sort of ‘L’ bracket fixing to your wall at both the top and bottom of the panel. This is best to do behind the fridge so it is not visible from the outside!
