Now it's time to prepare your cabinet for installation - please note all myDIY Kitchens cabinets will use the same process to secure to your walls including base, pantry, oven and upper cabinets.
Step one - Grab your loose adjustable cabinet feet and insert into the base already installed underneath the cabinet. Using your Sliding combination square set to 144 in height set all feet to this height.
Step two - position all your ‘chosen’ section of base cabinets in order as per your plan. Line up the top and front edge of the cabinet and clamp together top and bottom. Pre drill four holes in corners top and bottom front and back, ensuring not to drill entirely through the second cabinet. Screw and fix using 28mm screws in one direction either R to L or L to R so only one side of your cabinet has visible fixings.
When fixing cabinets against walls you do need to ensure you have made a 30mm gap for install of the infill. If you are starting against the wall, set the cabinet 30mm off before securing. Remember if you have been working towards a wall with your install it may measure slightly smaller or larger than 30mm but this is OK as the infill will be cut to fill.
Corner cabinets are the only exception to this rule.
