Can I choose a delivery / pick-up time?
Yes, you can schedule a specific time for both delivery and pick-up! Once your order is processed, you'll receive access to our live booking calendar. There, you can choose an available 1-hour window for your delivery or select a pick-up time that suits you.

How will my wardrobe be packed?
Your wardrobe will be packed as follows:
- Internal Melamine Pieces: These will be supplied as individual, flat pieces.
- Hanging Rail: These will be supplied in full lengths.
- Drawers: These come pre-assembled.
Important Note for Pick-up Customers: To ensure a smooth and efficient pick-up, all your wardrobe components will be prepared and waiting on a trolley for you at your selected pick-up time. Everything will be clearly labeled, and as mentioned, drawers will be pre-assembled.
Please ensure you arrive at your scheduled pick-up time with a vehicle suitable for transporting these large, flat items. We invest time and resources to organise and prepare your order for collection, which is why a fee may apply if you miss your scheduled pick-up time.

How far from Adelaide do you deliver?
Our standard delivery area covers a 45km radius from the Adelaide GPO. This delivery is included in our standard delivery charge.
You can also pick up your order directly from our factory in North Plympton.
If you're located outside our standard 45km delivery radius, we can still deliver to you! Please contact us for a personalised delivery quote, as an additional surcharge will apply on top of the delivery fee.
Will it be ready in 10 days?
We endeavour to maintain high stock levels to meet our 10 business/factory working day manufacturing and delivery timeframe. While most wardrobes are custom-made using in-stock materials, occasionally, supply issues may arise.
Please note that some walk-in robe coloured boards will incur an additional 5 working days, extending the manufacturing timeframe to 15 business/factory working days. This information will be communicated on our website and at the time of purchase.
We aim to communicate any other potential delays due to supply issues both on our website and at the time of purchase. In such cases, the manufacturing process may be extended.
Can I re-schedule a delivery or pick-up?
We understand that circumstances can change, but due to our production and logistics processes, it's important to adhere to your scheduled delivery or pick-up time.
- Our booking system allows customers to select a convenient delivery or pick-up time within our available schedule (clearly displayed on the delivery and pick-up pages and FAQs). Your order is then manufactured to align with this schedule.
- As Packers, South Australia's largest wardrobe manufacturer, we handle a high volume of orders. This limits our ability to store completed wardrobes beyond their scheduled factory exit date.
Therefore:
- If you need to reschedule, we require at least 3 working days' notice. While we aim to be flexible, rescheduling is subject to availability, storage space and at our discretion. Storage fees may apply if a pick-up is rescheduled.
- If you are unable to pick up your order, we may be able to arrange delivery for a delivery fee, to ensure the order leaves our factory as scheduled.
- Even minor delays (e.g., being late by 30 minutes or an hour) can disrupt our delivery or pick-up schedules and impact other customers, as our team and resources are allocated accordingly.
We appreciate your cooperation, as respecting these schedules helps us maintain efficient operations and provide timely service to all our customers.

Please note: While we aim for a 10 business day turnaround, available pick-up slots are subject to capacity. Due to varying order volumes and customer bookings, the available selection may shift to the next available day if our daily pick-up capacity is reached. Installation
What level of skill is required for installation?
Our wardrobes are designed as trade products and require a reasonable level of installation skill and the use of tools. Carpentry skills are necessary for successful installation.
To help you assess if our product aligns with your abilities, we strongly recommend watching our "How-to-Install" videos. These videos will provide a comprehensive overview of the installation process and the tools required. It is the purchaser's responsibility to review these videos and gauge whether they possess the necessary skills to complete the installation.
If you do not have the required skill set, we recommend considering purchasing a wardrobe from our full-service parent company Packers, who include check-measure and installation services. Our product's competitive price point reflects the savings customers achieve by handling the measuring and installation themselves, facilitated by our automated online purchasing system.
How long does it take to install?
The installation time for our wardrobes varies depending on your experience level and the complexity of the wardrobe design.
As a general guideline, someone with reasonable installation skills may be able to install 1-3 wardrobes per day. However, this is an estimate. Larger or more complex designs will naturally take longer. For example, including features like end panels increases the complexity and time required for installation.
We strongly recommend reviewing our "How-to-Install" videos to get a better understanding of the installation process and estimate the time required for your specific project.
Can I install this on top of the carpet?
Yes it can be installed on top of any type of flooring, but it is always best to check with your flooring manufacturer.

What board do you use?
The internal components of our wardrobes are constructed from different materials depending on product:
- Walk-in Wardrobes: If you select a coloured board (not white) for your walk-in wardrobe, it will be Polytec MDF. If you select white, it will be MDF Particle Board.
How deep are the internals?
The standard depth of our wardrobe internals is 442mm, however, you have the option to choose a deeper board depth of 587mm. Selecting a depth of 587mm allows most clothing to hang fully within the depth of the unit, as there are no doors to conceal protruding clothes. The pricing for the 587mm depth will be displayed in the wardrobe builder.
What is the height of the top shelf?
The standard height for the top shelf in our wardrobe systems is 2000mm from floor level (using 2000mm uprights).
For walk-in wardrobes, you have the option to adjust the top shelf height. It can be set at either 2000mm or 2100mm. This adjustability is beneficial if you:
- Are taller and require more a taller top shelf.
- Have higher ceilings, and want to maximise space.
- Wish to incorporate both a section of double hanging space and a shoe shelf in the same section, which is typically not possible with a 2000mm height.
What are the specifications of the drawers?
We offer different drawer options with varying materials, depending on the wardrobe type:
Walk-in Robes:
Häfele Matrix Box Slim drawers are standard in our walk-in robes. This is because standard drawers are not available to fit the 587mm depth boards, and we aim to provide drawers that maximise the available depth. These drawers feature:
- Slim steel drawer sides.
- Full extension and integrated soft-close mechanism.
- 16mm melamine white base.
What screws/fixings are included?
The quantity of screws included with your wardrobe will vary based on its size and configuration. For a detailed list of the included screws, please download our screw kit document.
It's important to note that we provide only the screws necessary for assembling the wardrobe itself. We do not include fixings for attaching the wardrobe to your specific wall or floor type, as these requirements vary greatly. For example, you may need different fixings depending on whether you have:
- Concrete floors
- Brick or gyprock walls
- Wall studs
- Ceilings requiring specialised anchors (e.g., wall mates)
Therefore, you will need to source the appropriate fixings for your installation based on your site conditions.

What is the warranty period
Our warranty covers materials for a period of 5 years.

Please ensure all measurements are accurate before placing your order, as we are unable to make changes once an order is confirmed (see our "How to Measure" video and tips for guidance).
Our wardrobes are custom-made to the specifications you provide. Due to our automated system, orders are submitted directly to our factory as soon as you accept and pay, and therefore changes cannot be made after this point. It is crucial that you supply accurate measurements to ensure a proper fit.
To help you avoid issues:
- We strongly recommend carefully reviewing our "How to measure video" video and measuring guides.
- If you are not confident in your ability to accurately measure and install, we suggest considering a full-service option from our parent company, Packers, who offer check-measure and installation services with a guarantee.
Our online ordering system and self-installation model allow us to offer competitive pricing. However, this relies on customers providing accurate measurements and being comfortable with the installation process.
Can I change my order after I have placed an order?
No, changes cannot be made to your order once it has been placed and payment has been processed.
Due to our automated system, orders are submitted directly to our factory for manufacturing as soon as you accept and pay. This process begins immediately to ensure efficient production and delivery times. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate any modifications or cancellations once the order is confirmed.
To prevent any issues, we strongly advise the following before placing your order:
- Carefully review all measurements and specifications.
- Watch our "How to Measure" video and refer to our measuring guides.
- Ensure you are confident in your selections.
We appreciate your understanding that our streamlined online system and self-installation model enable us to offer competitive pricing, which necessitates this policy.
